Tonight the IXDA Lansing (Interaction Design Association's global professional network) group is hosting a meeting at TechSmith. If you're in the Lansing, Michigan area, you're welcome to join us. If not, I thought others might want to tune-in to watch.

The topic tonight is "The Role of Sketching in Interaction Design" led by guest speaker Peter Tascarella. Peter will talk about using sketching as a tool for interaction design. Peter will cover how sketching is fundamental to the process of art and design. When the focus is on interaction, how can sketching be made to serve that process? Peter will be guiding us through ways it can be incorporated into the design process and applied to interaction design. You can see Peter's bio here.

Tune in on this blog to join the livecast tonight at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm ET

You might need to refresh this post at 6:00pm if you don't see the live stream right away. I hope you can join us! I'll be in the chat room field questions. Come keep me company.

Welcome to "The Forge" Chat!
