We Need Your Stamp and Callout Requests...
Posted on Wednesday October 12, 2011 by Betsy Weber

Bacon, soccer balls, and mustaches. What do they have in common? They're all graphics we've used for stamps in Snagit!
I need your help. We want to know what new stamps and callouts you'd like to see for Snagit and Camtasia? Do you need travel stamps? Stamps for architecture or mapping? Arrow callouts? Or, maybe you need something like unicorns and glitter? Who doesn't need those? :-)
To get an idea of current stamps and callouts we're offering, see the Snagit stamps here (see 'Stamps' section) and the Camtasia ones here.
Please chime in and share your requests! We'd really appreciate any ideas and feedback you have.

New stamps are nice but I'd be really happy if you just converted more of the existing stamps for Windows over to the Mac version of Snagit - especially some of the accent and numbers letters ones. I long for the day that Snagit for Mac becomes more than the lonely stepchild in the TechSmith family.

Numbers Large only go up to 16. It would be good if these were available up to 50. I use them in steps etc and 16 is not enough in long processes.

I would like to have solid star callouts without the blank space in the middle.

Callouts with multiple arrows would help me. I often want to point to 2 or more items with the same callout. Currently I overlay the same callout on top of the first one to achieve the result.

More variations on cursors with tags, e.g. 'Click Here', 'Type here' -- right and left facing with text to the extreme right/left so the text doesn't obscure what you are telling them to click on.

We need geometrically perfect shapes like actually round circles and straight edged squares/rectangles, etc.
Also: polygon highlights. Sometimes you want to highlight an area that isn't a rectangle!

I would love to see the symbols that astronomers use for the planets. Ex. a circle with the plus sign in it. An astronomy textbook might be helpful or you can write me and I can come by and show you them.
I just love this product and what it allows me to do for my students.

I'd like to have brackets and braces that are crisp in their visual definition. The halftones and shadow effects that are in your current library cause the images to appear so blurry that they've never been suitable the occasions I've needed brackets and braces. Thanks!
