UPDATED: The Forge - Live Today at 2pm EST (Recording Available)

Posted on Thursday March 24, 2011 by Betsy Weber

UPDATE: The recording of The Forge is embedded below. It runs just over 40 minutes. Enjoy!

Today is the day! Tune in on this blog post today at 2pm EST to see the live stream of The Forge!

Here's the run down of the show:

  • Microsoft OneNote and PowerPoint MVP, Kathy Jacobs, will share how she uses Snagit and Camtasia for her social media trainings, for PowerPoint, for OneNote work, and more.
  • Luke "Spork aficionado" Schnoebelen will talk about using a spork and screencasting.
  • Nick "I can fix it" Herber from our Tech Support department will talk about transparency in Snagit.
  • And, I'll share with you my pick for the Screencast of the Month.

We are also giving away two Forge Shirts and some of our prized titanium TechSmith sporks.

Note: You may need to refresh this blog post to see the live stream and chat room at 2pm EST. We're using the hashtag #tscforge

Matt Pierce :

In this episode we mention you can get a spork or a t-shirt - watch the end of the episode to find out how - we're keeping the opportunities open until Friday, April 1 2011 - 5 PM Eastern Time- no joke. (hint: you can get a shirt by emailing us your screencasts of the month suggestion to theforge [at] techsmith.com

I liked the info -- and most anything OneNote (it's a tool that I adopted several years ao, and like SnagIt, a tool I use at least several times daily).

The info about transparency in SnagIt, a feature I've used a few times in the past, gave me a few more ideas.

Time to go play in SnagIt and Camtasia on a presentation.
