Hey Betsy. This was great but, it did have some difficulties and I was not able to watch live. Darn I was hoping to get a shot at the "Beyond Bullet Points" for winning and reading that book. Guess that is out of the question now huh? Hopefully the next Forge Episode will be better.
Thanks Fred G.

Hi Well written post… super easy to read.
“Ask your readers what they want next.” – you know I might actually do that.
Do you ask them at the end of a post or is the post all about asking them what they want next?

I have just started checking out Forge episodes. Frankly, the audio quality, especially for the first 60 seconds, is clipped/over driven. I watched a few on YouTube, so I assumed the issue may lie there. But same problem when I pulled up #5 directly from VisualLounge.
Once you get to the body of the show, the audio is fine.
By the way, why still waste 60 seconds on that cheesy, poor quality intro by episode 5?
Why no "video" of Cliff talking?!? As premier webcasters, I assumed you guys could do that. OR are those technical limitations beyond web/screencasters control?
Back to the show...

Hi Rick,
As for the no video with Cliff. He was on Skype from his iPhone without the ability to provide camera video. It was unfortunate, but we did the best we could with what we had. Hopefully you find what Cliff said still valuable.
As for the intro - it's a matter of taste i guess. The idea is 8-bit introduction. We recently cut it back a little. We can always look into other options, but the opening is there for technical reasons (make sure the stream is working, getting an audio feed, gives the host a few seconds to make sure he's 'on'.)
Is there content that you'd like to see on the show?

Thanks to all of you for the insights, information, and tips. It's good to see live faces and hear first-hand how you think and work.

What are the rules for nominating screencast of the month? Must they be video?
