Intro was so long that it nearly caused me to skip viewing this video. You really should consider scaling it back.

I especially enjoyed your segment on audio.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the suggestion. The length is an interesting. Yes, on the surface, 40 minutes is a bit long. We have tried to break up the segments into manageable segments. So hopefully that helps.

This particular episode had 4 segments, whereas previous episodes have only had 3. We wanted to do something a little longer, since we won't be broadcasting again for a while (middle of January).

I'm interested in further thoughts about segment lengths - or what else would help make these shows more enticing to watch?

Thanks again for the feedback! Please don't hesitate to share any other thoughts with us.

Hi Matt

I wasn't talking about the overall length of the video. The main content segments were good and I enjoyed them.

What I was referring to was the first minute and 20 seconds of the video. It seems way too long to wait to see the meat of the video and I began to lose interest after perhaps 20-30 seconds. ;)

Cheers... Rick :)

Hi, I liked the different content of the screencast but guys you need to sort out your audio quality and the editing before posting.

This is not a dig but constructive feedback on this particular screencast as I have not watched the others so don't take personally.

The audio rumbles throughout the screencast, just listen to it wearing headphones to verify. This is probably happening where the mic is close to the speaker or someone has tried to add an effect to clean it up a bit and made it worse or is brushed on clothing (Tiffany).

There is a transition at 04:37 - 04:39 where it cuts back to Kelly Rush (in error), a blatant editing error.

I can give you more detailed breakdown if you want it, just email me.

I just think with the great products that Techsmith produced that you need to UP your production quality for the screencasts to show off the products to its best.

Alan
