This link should work - http://www.youtube.com/user/ChannelTechSmith
It's weird - YouTube tells me the video is public, but the direct link and the embed code come back with the private video result. If I give the link to the Channel TechSmith page, it plays fine.
Let me know if you still can't see the video from: http://www.youtube.com/user/ChannelTechSmith
Makes life exciting! :-)

Hang on everyone, I'm going to try re-uploading the video. Looks like it might be a YouTube bug!

That cake looks delicious! And the new Camtasia 7 looks even more promising! Can't wait to use it for our new Office 2010-TV.

I just took delivery of my copy of Camtasia Studio 6 on Wednesday, March 17, and installed it but haven't even begun using it yet. Now I find out that Version 7 is coming out?? The published upgrade policy on Techsmith's site does not seem to provide for a free-upgrade window when a new version is released. I will be VERY UNHAPPY if I have to pay for an upgrade to Studio 7 when I have just purchased Studio 6. Can someone please address this? If there is no fairness here, I will feel totally screwed by Techsmith after laying out all that cash for what I just received.

In a phone call to the sales department this morning, I was told that (1) Camtasia Studio 7 is scheduled for relase on or about March 30 and (2) buyers who purchased within the prior 30 days will get the free upgrade. I dearly hope this is correct. It will also allow me to return Daniel Park's Camtasia 6 book to Amazon for a refund, and then I can buy Mr. Park's Camtasia 7 book when it comes out.
I hope Betsy or another Techmisth person can confirm this information.

@ David Berman, I was told the same thing about buying it within 30 days and they have always done this in the past for other upgrades, so I'm not worried about having to pay for CS7.
So we got cursor effects including a spotlight effect. We have new call outs that look cool.
The only other thing I can guess from this video is maybe we can easily do video in reverse as well as show multiple videos on one recording? Or was that done the long and hard way?
I can't wait! :-)

I just wanted to confirm with everyone that we have a 30 day free upgrade policy. Anyone who purchased Camtasia Studio within 30 days of the release and anyone that is under an active maintenance agreement will be upgraded to Camtasia Studio v7 for no additional charge. We proactively reach out to customers that are eligible for a free upgrade. After the release if you do not receive your free upgrade e-mail and you believe that you are eligible you are welcome to contact our sales team here: http://techsmith.com/sales

Thanks, Amanda (and Tanya). I bought CS6 from a third-party vendor because they offered a good price, and if there is any question about my dates I have a copy of the vendor's packing list showing the Ship Date of March 11. So it looks like I'm covered. The daily video teasers of CS7 new features are very tantalizing.
