Camtasia Studio 7 - Sneak Peek, YouTube
Posted on Thursday March 25, 2010 by Betsy Weber
YouTube is the world's leading video community on the web. In fact, in 2008 it became the number 2 search engine. Plain and simple... if you want your screencast in front of millions of people, YouTube is the place to be!
With Camtasia Studio 7, you'll be able to produce and upload HD-quality videos to YouTube without even leaving Camtasia Studio! It's even easier to share your screencasts with the world.
Check out today's sneak peek screencast below. It runs less than a minute long.
Just a few more days until you'll be able to try Camtasia Studio 7! I can't wait to hear what you think!

Jippie!! ...ehm but wait, the screencast shows at 15 seconds the (default?) resolution used in this example of upload to YouTube: 640x360
That is not HD.

@Pierre: The new "Share to YouTube" option in the CS7 production wizard uses the editing dimensions as the production dimensions. You can set the editing dimensions to whatever you like, including 1280x720 (HD) as shown in this screenshot.

This is nice feature.
A preset with more popular video pattforms would be nice (blip.tv, vimeo etc.). As far as I know, this two sites afford an API also.

This is a really cool feature, can't wait to test it out.
Right now I'm uploaded a lot of videos to YouTube (live videos) and I run everything through Camtasia before uploading to YouTube... a definite time saver!

Hi David,
are you using SmugMug for all your hosting needs? I know they have great HD video support. But, you want screencasts up there, too? What are you screencasting, if you don't mind me asking?
