I've been using Camtasia (Win) for years and am moving to Mac both personally and professionally. Would like to help move Camtasia (Mac) forward.

Glad to hear progress is being made - after a long wait, I worried that Camtasia for Mac would never see the light of day. I can't wait to see it. I hope it turns out great. It had better; we Mac users are a ruthless bunch. :)

I use SnapZPro extensively but find it restrictive and frustrating. On the PC side I use Captivate (Adobe). Since I rarely use a PC, I need a good Mac tool. I look forward to a Camastia Mac version!

For Sale: One mac user looking for a practical program to to author elearning courses on. I use Snag-it at work & love it. Unfortunately we don't use Camtasia. I'm looking for software to build a personal set-up just in case I find myself needing to supplement an unemployment check with side work. That being said I would love to help test your mac version both from a performance & a new user looking for a tool to build interactive (fingers crossed) elearning solutions on.

I create e-learning, promotional & training webcasts & DVDs for colleges, non-profits, and businesses.
I use Final Cut, and our own proprietary flash app that employs video and ppt & html slides.
I want to have Camtasia in my toolbox to offer clients a different type of presentation - and I have several requests already!

I have 3000 staff to train and survey and would welcome the opportunity to take part in the development program. We have recently acquired Captivate but it runs like a dog on my Lenovo. My MacPro sits under the desk crammed full with images and Keynote presentations just waiting for the right application.

O pick me! Been eager to get macamtasia since I first heard about it AND I happen to have a bunch of screencast projects to work on over the next couple of months. If that's not harmonic convergence, what is?

I run a Media team within the Education Services group of multi-billion dollar organization. Our platform of choice is Mac but we are a very heavy Camtasia user and as such have to use PC's or VMware Fusion to run it. Having a native Mac application would be a welcome addition to our software portfolio. I would relish the chance to be part of this BETA and would think myself and my team would be ideal candidates. I have filled in the survey and am looking forward to hearing back.
Thanks,
nik

Currently have to drag out a hateful Windows laptop to make my Camtasia videos. I bought iShowU for Mac, but pales in comparison.
I really would love to be able to do my work on a Mac. Participating in the beta would be a great chance for me, I'm a big fan, and I'd really like to help out and take part behind the scenes.
I also have alot of projects I will be working on in the next few months and over the summer. I would love to take part!

Is it too late to sign up for the beta? I just got a MAC (macbook pro) and I'm making how-to videos these days. Would love to be a beta tester. Have been using SnagIt for years and ready to step up to CS.

I too have used Camtasia on Windows, but have switched to Mac for about 2 years now and never want to go back. However, I have never found a program as robust and easy to use as Camtasia. So, I'm very interested in this beta testing too. Can't wait to see it.

Have a need to capture animation from discrete-event-model simulation for presentation of findings. Camtasia for Win is what my predecessors have used and I a little. However, the Mac is my main development and simulation platform. Camtasia on the Mac would streamline the effort to communicate my simulation results to our upper management tremendously if it works easily.
It's my job to think out of the box and discover the limitations/feasibility of new applications relevant to current objectives is what I do. If not too late to get on board, I am confident that mutual benefit would be the outcome of participation.

Did it!
I used to use SnagIt and Camtasia every day for communicating. I taught people how to use it at my old company and 'sold' it to several departments.
I could snag an image, annotate and send it faster than others could open Word to paste a bloated screenshot.
I moved to Mac and have needed Snagit ever since.

I'm making the switch, after being a DIE-HARD PC person, over to, yes, that's right, OVER to Mac! :) The ONLY software that I'm going to miss on my PC?
Camtasia.
I would love, love, love to help you test Camtasia. The faster it's out the better. Did I mention? I've done QA for a major software development firm, too. I'm a programmer, analyst, usability person.
Everyone around here calls me Ms. Spot The Mistake. If there's something wrong, I find it. :)
Have I sold you yet on my usefulness for this task?
I want to help get this out as fast as possible, so I can really, really give up my PC.
