Training Resources - Meet Stewart Milton

We get several requests at TechSmith about where to get classroom training on our products. Sometimes our own Training Department hits the road and conducts training, but they can't be everywhere all the time. I thought I'd share with you about a great resource in the UK as well as a few other online resources available to you.
Last week I had the honor of meeting with Stewart Milton from BlueOrange Consulting in Scotland. We visited Loch Lomond which you can see in the background of his pic to the left.
Stewart conducts public training classes for Camtasia Studio all over the UK - Glasgow, London and Dublin. You can find out more about Stewart's training, read reviews from students and book a course online here. And, Steawrt has trained lots of big companies like Sun Microsystems, Standard Life, Bupa, and Clifford Chance.
I was also impressed with Stewart's videos and creativity. Click on the pic to the left to launch one of Stewart's Camtasia Studio videos. The video runs less than a minute. Stewart makes these 'eCommercials'. When we met, he shared with me his philosophy behind these 'eCommercials' - "...you only get one shot to capture the interest of a casual browser and convert them into a customer. An eCommercial has to be short, benefit packed for the viewer and have high impact." Did you notice Stewart's use of Camtasia's Flash Hotspot Callout to add a link to email or book the class at the end of his video? Stewart will show you how to get the most out of Camtasia and make creative videos.
