Cross Your Fingers for Marc Orchant...

I was sad to hear the news this morning that my friend Marc Orchant suffered a massive heart attack on Sunday. More details can be found on the blognation blog here.
That's Marc in the picture to the left. We were at a TabletPC meet-up at CES earlier this year.
Marc has always been a big cheerleader for SnagIt, Camtasia Studio, Jing...and for me. He used SnagIt everyday and for every screencapture in his book about Outlook. Our products are better because of him...I'm better because of knowing him.
This whole thing has got me thinking about what's important and how I need to tell people how much they mean to me. And, I will finally go get that CPR training I've been putting off because I've been 'too busy'.
Marc's been so many things to me - mentor, copy editor, career counselor, tech guide, partner in crime and most importantly, he has been my friend. Please keep Marc and his family in your thoughts.
