A Camtasia Screencast about Screencasting - Input Needed
Posted on Sunday February 18, 2007 by Betsy Weber
Next week, I have on the schedule to make a screencast about how we make screencasts with Kelly Rush, our video producer.
So, rather than me come up with all of the questions about how we make our screencasts, I thought I'd open it up to you. E-mail your questions, leave them in the comments, or better yet, click the button below and leave me a voice message. No typing required.

Also, keep in mind this does not have to be directly about just the Camtasia Studio side of production; if you have questions about recording camera video, effects, production, or anything else, these are more than welcome, too! :)

Could you take us through the process from start to finish? How do you get the great video and audio quality? How did you determine the video size to produce to? How do you import external video and mix with Camtasia screen recording when the audio comes from the Camtasia recording and not the external video - I have issues with syncing up video and audio?

Great questions, John! I'll try to get to most of them in the video!

Speaking of great audio quality. I want to know how you get Betsy to just come out the left channel and the Training manager to just come out the Right channel. Most videos I watch don't seem to be able to do that....the audio always comes out both channels.

I would love to know how to have the video pop up a'la light box. Screeniac was doing it for awhile and it was very cool. I had tried to do it myself but never got there.
