Video #30 of 30...Creating custom Flash Preloaders

Phew. We made it. Here is video 30 in our series. We didn't quite make the 30 videos in 30 days. Sorry about that.
I hope you've enjoyed the series. We've learned a lot from this experience too.
Jeff left a comment on this post asking for advice and why didn't make our target of 30 videos in 30 days. There were a couple of things that we had difficulty with. For one thing, when I was traveling, sometimes I had problems uploading and posting to the blog remotely.
Also, we started this series about two weeks before we launched Camtasia Studio 4. We did this so we could show you some of the new features before we released Camtasia Studio 4. All the additional activities surrounding the product launch cut into the video creation time also making us late on some of the videos.
That being said, should we do something like this series again? What else would you like to see?

This video is about how to create a custom Flash preloader. If you'd like to add your own logo or text to the preloader that plays while your Flash video loads, this is the tutorial for you!

Betsy, these videos are great. I learned a few things and I looked forward to the new video every day. For me, seeing TechSmith empoyees manage the same issues I have and observing their work-flow was helpful. It also gave me some great ideas for new screencasts I'd like to create.

It would be cool if those movies would be made available as podcast (for ipod)
I would love to carry them with me and look at them anytime

Still waiting for that custome flash preloader video to be placed on your site. We procduce inhouse support videos for the MD program and several comments have been made about the fact that the preloader does not display the medical/university program logo...
