Video #11 of 30 - Noise Reduction in Camtasia Studio 4

Posted on Monday October 9, 2006 by Betsy Weber

Ever made a Camtasia Studio video and played it back only to hear your computer's fan churning noisily in the background? Or, Remember those videos I made at the airport, tradeshow floor or hotel lobby with users? There's lots of background noise. Not always ideal for your listening pleasure. A new feature coming in next version of Camtasia Studio helps alleviate that problem.

Judy Warters :

I have been searching different audio editors to get rid of background noise. Do you have a release date for Camtasia Studio 4? Do you have any audio editing suggestions until then?

I recorded a wav file. Several days later I had to re-record a portion but the sound quality was not the same. A friend mentioned that you can use a noise reduction filter to take the fuzziness out to clean up the file and make the previous and earlier versions sound the same. Can someone recommend a noise filter for me please.
