A new book on the block - Camtasia Studio 3: The Definitive Guide by Daniel Park
Posted on Tuesday August 1, 2006 by Betsy Weber
Want to be part of a summer reading program? No book report required?
I'm happy to announce that there's a great new resource available for Camtasia Studio! Daniel Park has written not just an article, but a whole book on Camtasia Studio 3!

Former TechSmith staffer Daniel Park was originally hired in 1999 to create Camtasia videos to launch the product. So, he's been working with the product from the beginning. Daniel has since gone on to start his own company, dappertext, which specializes in making Camtasia videos.
This book is geared for all types of users, from beginners to advanced-level users. There is a comprehensive set of exercises and the book is filled with tips and tricks, plus gotchas to avoid.

Daniel reads this blog regularly. So, if you have any questions, feel free to post them here.

Is there a promotional code for those that have purchased Camtasia Studio 3? That would definitely make me buy the definitive.

While I have no direct control over this, I think it's a fine idea. At the very least, I've been pushing for TechSmith to offer a bundle deal with Camtasia Studio and the book in one discounted package.

I'd like to echo Betsy's comments about this book. This is a great book and an excellent resource for those looking to get the most out of Camtasia Studio. Daniel offers loads of practical advice in a casual, conversational style.

Is there a way to break up a project into several smaller projects including the callouts. I've saved frame as...;created a new project and imported clips but the callouts weren't included
