Who wants to be a Camtasia Studio or SnagIt Guinea Pig?

Posted on Friday June 2, 2006 by Betsy Weber

Want to be the first on the block to try the new features in upcoming releases before they're released to the public?

Of course you do! You're in luck...there are 25 beta tester spots open for upcoming releases of SnagIt and Camtasia Studio.

What's required of you? We need your feedback. We need you to report on issues you encounter during the various beta releases, and give us product criticism that helps us make YOU happy.

If you're interested, please send me an e-mail and tell me which product you want to test.

Depending on which you choose, you'll be working with Jack Brown, SnagIt Project Manager or Kari Bulkley, Camtasia Studio Product Manager, pictured below.

Betsy:
Two Camtasia suggestions:
1. Just as you have Snagit profiles for Flickr, how about Camtasia profiles or wizards for output to Course Management systems like WebCT, Angel and Moodle? I am using a product from www.respondus.com called Studymate which does this painlessly.

2. How about a Camtasia partnership with media distribution systems like www.playstream.com or projectstream.com to provide live screencasting? And possibly a partnership with Angel or WebCT to facilitate the online course delivery?

Thanks.
