Well, it was a fun week at CES. This show was amazing, and it was such an honor to attend. There was so much technology, I could taste it!

One of the highlights of the week for me was the Tablet PC MVP, Geek/Blogger dinner.

I had a few minutes at the dinner to talk with Robert Scoble. (Go to his blog to read his observations on the show.) I had a brief chance to catch up with Jake Ludington, and Chris Pirillo, who both have great newsletters and blogs. Rob Bushway also has a recap of the dinner on his blog where he refers to SnagIt as a "snipping tool on steroids." While we don't condone drug use at TechSmith, we do love that phrase.

Another highlight of the show happened while I was wandering around the expo floor looking for the CAM Commerce using SnagIt in their booth! CAM Commerce makes inventory control systems, and they use SnagIt's batch conversion tool to compress thousands of photos to add to the inventory system that they show to potential clients. They also recommend SnagIt to their clients to compress and convert all of their thousands of pictures for their systems. It's always fun to run into users, especially when you least expect it!
