Camtasia Studio and soccer

You can make great presentations using PowerPoint, a Tablet PC and Camtasia Studio. I saw an interesting video made with Camtasia Studio on a Tablet PC with PowerPoint that I wanted to share.
Troy Stein, the Camtasia Studio Product Manager, coaches two soccer teams.
The 8 year old boys team he coaches decided to play indoors. Its really fun and very popular in the winter time especially here inMichigan. It is so popular here that you don't get practice timeindoors...unless you want to pay dearly for it.

Troy felt that they needed to go over a few things before theirfirst game, so he created PowerPoint presentation and fired upCamtasia Studio on the tablet PC. As you'll see in thescreencast, he also used PowerPoint's inkingcapabilities. The parents and kids thought it was neat...

Not what I expected, but certainly the most entertaining screencast I've ever seen.

"Chalk talks" will never be the same! This is really great. I can imagine coaching books containing a CD, w/ a whole bunch of this sort of multimedia. Or summer athletics camps doing this for their campers, and also for "marketing" their camps.
Could this also work for teaching board games, eg chess, Monopoly, using either diagrammatic views *or* actual images of the boards and pieces?
When movies can be sent cheaply to cell phones, this'll work for explaining maps/directions, yes?

They're already doing it. As a chess fan this i one of my favorite examples of Camtasia:

Joe - thanks for sharing! I had not seen that video before. It's great!
Now...if I only knew how to play chess! I need to find someone who has made a Chess 101 Camtasia Studio video. :-)

love the chess video! I'm a real hack at chess, but seeing it narrated like this helps bring me along nicely.
Nice work!
